PRICE REVIEW OF HIRING FEES:
The Centre is run largely by volunteers for the benefit of the local community, and we are proud to host many clubs and events throughout each week. In the current economic situation we are all facing, the Centre is also facing higher bills and outgoings due to the high cost of energy and bills to run the Centre.
At the recent Committee meeting it was agreed that we needed to increase the prices of our room hire for events and parties in future, in order for the Centre to continue to meet the increasing costs we face.
Regrettably this means there is an increase in all our hire fees from 1st August 2023.
Any bookings made from 1st August 2023 will be charged at the higher fees. We will review the situation again in November 2023.

Do you know that Tonteg Community Centre is run almost entirely by volunteers? Might you like to join our group of volunteers?
The Centre is a hub of our community and we’re always keen to raise funds to help improve the facilities as well as support local and national charities.
All the events and activities held at the Centre are organised by the volunteers, ably supported by the caretaker and booking clerk – and we would love more people to join our committee or volunteers. Bringing a willingness to help the community, fresh ideas and a helping hand. Is this you?
